Ideas for Content – Magazine Covers
My wife runs a small gardening blog, but she only writes what’s on HER mind. She doesn’t have enough audience at this point where she needs to keep adding content. (If she did, her readership would grow significantly…she’s a great writer.)
Well, obviously she loves gardening. Therefore she has a TON of gardening magazines on our bookshelves.
The other day I noticed that all of the spines of the magazines had the top articles written on them. With all the magazines stacked so tightly, it looked like one big list of hot topics to write about. And my wife could pen a decent blog post on every single one of those articles, right off the top of her head. (I really need to get on her about that!)
Cruise over to your nearest bookstore and browse the magazines related to your niche, and take a notepad with you. Just looking at the covers will give you nice, juicy titles for things to write about. Jot down 5 of the titles that caught YOUR eye, and write what you know about those!
