Collect Blog Post Ideas Right On Your Blog
If you’re like me, you are so busy that you feel like your brain is a bucket full of holes…ideas and information keeps leaking out, lost forever.
There are times when you get a great idea for a blog post, but don’t have time to write it, or even research it.
The solution is simple: create a private page on your blog to collect your blog post ideas.
From your dashboard, go to Pages, and create a page called “Blog Post Ideas”. Then, under the ‘Publish’ options, change the Visibility from Public to Private. Then only you will ever be able to see your list.
You can also add a link to this page directly under your Links section. Just choose Links, Add New, and make sure the ‘Keep this link private’ option is checked before you save it. Then no one else but you will see the link in your blogroll.
When you are logged into your blog, you will see the link in your blogroll. You can visit the page when you are ready to write, and all your ideas are in one place! You can also usually choose the ‘Edit’ function directly from that page, unless you have a template that doesn’t allow that.
Hopefully this little tip will help you keep the content going on your blog…and you can stop losing the good ideas.
Happy blogging!
